Ditch excavated prior to redevelopment to the north of Wolborough Street in Newton Abbot in 2006. The ditch was aligned east to west with a flat base 1 metre wideby 0.4 metres deep and the north side sloping more steeply than the southern. A sherd of possible Tudor Green'ware was recovered from the fill of the ditch suggesting it was filled in the 15th to 16th century. A similar date was suggested for a posthole excavated to the west.
