Full description

Farnell, A. J., 2007, Alfington Sewage Treatment Works (Report - Watching Brief). SDV339514.

A 3.4 meter section of ditch aligned northwest to southeast was exposed during groundworks for an access road to Alfington Sewage Treatment Works in 2007. The ditch was 0.85 meters wide by 0.3 meters deep and cut into the natural clay sub soil. A single Prehistoric flint scraper which was retouched along its cutting edge was recovered from the ditch.
