Linear features recorded during geophysical survey and excavation in the vicinity may represent the ditches of former fields.

The survey undertaken in advance of a planning application. The archaeology is thought to comprise former field boundaries, remnants of a medieval strip field system, drainage ditches and ditches of unknown function. There are also anomaly groups which may have archaeological potential but could be geological in origin.
A number of anomalies in Area C coincide with already recorded stip fields.
