Site of a small square building shown on 19th century map on the east side of a former field boundary in Colyford.

Eight small trenches were excavated during an evaluation in 2007. The trenches indicated that the majority of the site had remained as argricultural land. The footings of a small wall were exposed in Trench 8 in the southeast corner of the site which probably formed part of the boundary illustrated on 19th century maps. Other details: Figs 2 & 3.
