Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
A boundary stone is marked as 'B.S' on the First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch map.

A parish boundary stone (c1822) by the Twisted Oak public house, on the west side of the road, in grass by a wall. The small stone is very worn and at risk from overgrowth of vegetation. There are chips to the edges and it is partly sunk into the ground. The legend on the left hand face reads 'Ide/P' and the right hand face reads 'Alphing/ton/P'. Other details: Surveyed 18/4/2006.
