A mass of flint material has been collected over 20 years on Bolberry Down. Many of the artefacts and waste flakes found are difficult to date, and could be assigned to any period from the Mesolithic to the Bronze Age. Finds include cores, core-rejuvenation flakes, gravers or burins, scrapers and microliths.
