Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

'West Liscombe' marked on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map, comprising farmhouse on north side of yard with range of buildings to west and additional buildings to south. There is also what appears to be a barn with a horse engine to the east.

Liscombe is documented as Lillescombe in 1285 and as Lillicomb in 1333. Thought to derive from Lil's Valley.
