Full description
Best, J., 2006, Archaeological Fieldwalking and Trial Trenching for the Proposed Sherford New Community Development, 7 (Report - Excavation). SDV340475.
A ditch excavated at the eastern end of Trench 8 was 1.3 metres wide by 0.6 metres deep. It was identified in the geophysical survey and may represent part of a former medieval field system in the area. Other details: Figures 2 & 11.
