Department of Environment, 1988, Parkham (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV16647.

Fry's Cottage. Late 17th, early 18th century, with late 19th century extension to right. Colourwashed render over coursed slatestone rubble; gabled roof, with asbestos sheet roof to left and late 19th century slate roof to right; stone ridge stack (formerly right end stack of 17th century house).
One-unit plan extended to 2-unit plan in late 19th century. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Late C19th century plank door to right of centre, set in beaded frame. Flat rendered arches over late 19th century two-light casements.
Interior: boxed beam; bases of A-frame truss visible. Other details: LBS Number: 91485.

Higher and lower cottage, partly rendered, under corrugated sheet and slate respectively. Lean-to at east end with double roman tiles. Chimney stack on higher roof is a large square stone stack, that on the lower side is of brick.
