Lane shown on 2 inch Ordnance Survey surveyors' drawing, Heanton Punchardon Tithe Map and 1890 Ordnance Survey 6 inch map. Extends east, then north east, from road past Knowlwater Farm to corner of field. There were over 20 small fields in this area on the Tithe Map. Nineteenth century or earlier.
