Exeter Archaeology, 2005, Archaeological Assessment (Revised) of proposed Wind Farm at Fullabrook, North Devon, 14 (Report - Assessment). SDV340799.
A field on Marwood Tithe Map is called Cross Park in the Tithe Apportionment (No.1588). As the field is not located at a crossroads the name may refer to the former site of a cross. The west boundary of the field is now gone. Possibly of medieval date. Other details: Site 152.
