Full description

Reichel, O. J., 1928 - 1938, The Hundred of Shebbear in Early Times, 569, 581 (Article in Monograph). SDV7713.

Winscott was included in the manor of Alwington in Domesday. In 1316 Winscot was held by Walter de Wynscote and in 1428 by the heirs of the same family.
