Full description
Blackwell, R., 2008, Great Stone Farm, South Molton, Devon, 11 (Report - Assessment). SDV341108.
The farm building to the north of Great Stone Farmhouse is a single storey stone building with a Welsh slate roof on the south side and a corrugated iron roof on the north. A hayrack inside the east end suggests that it was, at least partially, used as a cowhouse. The central portion of the building is first shown on the Tithe Map of 1846, and extensions were added to each end in the later 19th century. Other details: Figures 2, 3, 9..
