French, h. /tda/95(1963)159/field names in widecombe in the moor. Burrow close occurs on southcombe (french).

Field no 637, burrow close (tithe map). Vis=14/8/1979 (dcra). Market garden. Belongs to inglemore. No trace of a mound in the vicinity, however according to the os see sx77nw15 there may be the site of a bowl barrow on the village green's ne corner (dcra).
