Full description
Adam, N., J. + Cox, P. W. + Chandler, J., 2001, Stover Ball Clay Works ROMPS, Teigngrace, Devon: Archaeological Assessment, 7, 10-11 (Report - Assessment). SDV341497.
Area of apparent dumping recorded during walkover survey in December 2000, which was presumably from earlier quarrying . The material appears to have been levelled off to form a rectangular 'platform-like' mound. This will be affected by the extension to the existing pit. There is no evidence to suggest that these deposits relate to pre-emparkment quarrying, but their significance cannot fully be explored at present. Other details: Site 29.
