Full description

Department of National Heritage, 1994, Dartmouth, 10 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV157498.

Conduit adjoining the north side of 148 (not included) Above Town. Water conduit dated 1794 with probably older origins. Stone rubble. Small square structure enclosing a well with an iron gate across the front entrance. Inside it has an irregular shape, roughly circular, with a short flight of steep stone steps down. The well head is built up to display a sandstone plaque inscribed '1794 St Petrox Feoffees Water'. Map object based on this source.
