Summary

Sub-rectangular enclosure, on hillside at the end of the trackway between Culverhill and East Trayne, is visible on aerial photographs. The enclosure is clearly observable on the ground. During fieldwalking some flint and post-medieval sehrds were found.

Visible on 1984 daps (june). Vis=11/5/1986 (cotton et al). Field under cultivation, ploughed and sown. Enclosure clearly visible on the ground, with a slight lynchet downslope (west). North-east quadrant of the field walked in grid. Some flint found, much post- medieval pot (record sheet).
