Road, probably a sandway, running west from SS39522451 towards Portledge Mouth shown as continuous on 1804-7 Ordnance Survey 2-inch drawing. Extends only to Marsh Copse (SS38982450) on 1837 Tithe Apportionment and 1838 Tithe Map (plot No. 44); no trace on 1886 Ordnance Survey map. Now partly under a lake. Other details: 2406.
