Bucks Barton was presumably the barton farm of the Domesday manor of Bochewis. Manor subsequently divided into East and West Buckish. 1886 Ordnance Survey map shows platform to east of house at SS34292316 that might represent the 'Remains of a Barton'. Other details: 2334.
