Full description
Reichel, O. J., 1928 - 1938, The Hundred of Black Torrington in Early Times, 234,238 (Article in Monograph). SDV2105.
Berridon, alias Berrydown, was part of the Domesday manor of Bradworthy Dune, belonging to Ralf de Pomeray. Henry de Otri held it in the 1166 Black Book of the Exchequer, and John de Dune was tenant in 1241 Testa de Nevil.
