Full description
Department of National Heritage, 19/04/1993, Bideford, 250 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV338459.
Includes Number 11, Church Walk. House, now subdivided. Early 19th century. Solid rendered walls. Slate roof at front; rear range flat-roofed. Rendered chimney on right gable-end; another chimney behind ridge, to left. Plan consists of two parallel ranges, each probably one room deep. Two storeys; three-window range. Four-panelled central door, the top two panels now glazed. Windows have barred sashes: eight over eight panes in the centre, ten over ten panes at each side. Boxed eaves-cornice; moulded bargeboards. Number 11, Church Walk has a one-window front facing east: four-panelled door, the top two panels now glazed, upper-storey window with six-paned sashes. Matching window in side-wall facing north. Interior not inspected. Front garden of Number 12 ,Tower Street has low stone-rubble wall. A short length of 19th century iron railing and a gate are located to the right of the doorway.
