Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

U-shaped earthwork shown on 19th century map to the south of the site of a mansion.


Steinmetzer, M., 2009, Archaeological Monitoring at Priory Cottage, Snapper, Barnstaple (Report - Watching Brief). SDV342730.

Square depression 32 metres long by 30 metres wide and up to 3.5 metres deep cut into the hillside to the south of the former Yeotown manor house. The feature appears to be a hollow left by slate quarrying.
