Exeter Archaeology, 2008, Archaeological Evaluation at 20-22 East Street, Newton Abbot (Report - Evaluation). SDV342746.

20 East Street in Newton Abbot was demolished in 2008 prior to redevelopment of the site. A trench aligned north-south across the footprint of the cottage exposed stone and cob rubble overlying the natural subsoil. A pit and a shallow flat-based linear feature were excavated to the south of the cottage.
