Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Former field boundary shown on 19th century map running southwest to northeast to the north of the two clearance cairns.

A pair of small stony mounds are visible as earthworks in a field west of North Kipscombe, Bratton Fleming. They lie adjacent to the remains of a Post Medieval field boundary, depicted on the first edition Ordnance Survey map, and are most likely Post Medieval clearance cairns associated with the removal of this boundary. Other details: Monument Number 1488976.
