Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Access drive to Pool Farm shown on 19th century map as a wide track with four trees on the southern side

The eastern entrance drive to Pool farm probably dates to the 18th century as the north side wall is integral with the terraced formal garden to the north. Both sides of the drive have slate rubble walls. This drive replaced the earlier entrance to the west as it has an easier slope for wheeled vehicles and horses.
