An irregularly shaped earthwork bank, 36m long by 30m wide, is visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2007. It corresponds with a rectilinear earthwork depicted on the late 19th century First Edition Ordnance Survey map and on the 2020 Ordnance Survey MasterMap. It is interpreted as a post-medieval or 19th century spoil heap, possibly associated with Devon Great United Mine (MDV3889) recorded 200m to the east. The earthwork is obscured by thick tree cover on other available aerial imagery.
