Bannister, N. R. + Bannister, D. E., 1992, Historic Landscape Survey of The Molland Estate, near South Molton, Devon: Volume I, 38 (Report - Survey). SDV343601.
Scattered across the farmland are remains of stone quarries, of varying size, the majority of which are associated with a farmstead. The stone was used for building, road making and stone facing of hedgebanks.
