A well complete with a small well house lie in the middle of a cultivated field to the east of the ruinous Broomage farmstead. The well may once have provided water for the farm but is not shown on 19th or early 20th century maps. The brick in the well house wall is probably of late 19th century date. The well house is open to the south-west and is 1.6 metres long by 0.7 metres wide by 1 metre high.
