Jury, R., 1995, Shaldon Gun Emplacement (Worksheet). SDV343794.
Coastal battery gun site for 4.7 inch QF gun made in Japan circa 1917. Flat concrete platform with brick surround. In poor condition, overgrown, threatened by coastal erosion of cliff. Source indicates a tunnel leading to main fire control position. This was not found but there are piles of rubble. Photograph.
