Barrow 'C'. Third of three possible saucer barrows. Site visit 13th December 1961. A crescentic fragment of bank, up to 0.3 metres high which is probably the remains of a circular bank similar to the others. These features are on a high heathland and are heavily overgrown with gorse. This makes their identification difficult but their form is suggestive of saucer barrows. The absence of analagous sites in this region makes such an assessment tentative.

Site visit 21st May 1983. Crescentic bank still clearly identifiable - possibly remains of a ring cairn. The bank appears more curved, and to continue further to the north than shown on the Ordnance Survey 1:2500 drawing. Other details: Sketch plan in parish file.
