Full description
Gaskell-Brown, C., 1977, Morwellham: An Archaeological Survey, 36 (Report - Survey). SDV344219.
One of three cottages show on early 19th century map, constructed between 1787 and 1803. A two storey random rubble building with substantial stone chimney stack projecting from each gable, opposite the chapel on the western side of road. Built on the slope, it appears to have cellars beneath it. This would correspond in part to 1803 description of three new dwelling houses 'with stores under'. Other details: Photograph 2.55 (B).
