Clements, H. A., 1994, Survey of Farmsteads in the Devon Part of the Blackdown Hills, Annotated plan and photos (Report - Survey). SDV344050.

Preston Farm is basically an L-shaped plan although the farmhouse and its adjoining barn and cartshed create a strong single line effect, measuring about 170 feet from end to end. The barn and cartshed are considered to be farm buildings at risk (B.A.R. 2.2.3, 3.2.4). Adjacent to the farmhouse is a small 19th century outbuilding with a corrugated iron roof (B.A.R. 3.2.4) and, forming the eastern end of the yard, a 19th century cider house (B.A.R. 3.2.4).
