Pye, A. R. + Noble, S. + Turton, S. D., 1992, Archaeological Survey and Assessment at Greenawell Park Farm, West Ogwell, 10, 19 (Report - Survey). SDV344412.

A row of five quarry pits lie along the north-western escarpment, with acess being via a gateway and track from West Ogwell. Not shown on any map sources. Possibly date to after 1889, or had gone out of use by then, or possibly considered too insignificant to be depicted. May represent trial pits or small scale intermittent removal of stone from the rockface. Some may have been the source of the stone used in the field walls surrounding the survey area.
