Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Jenkinson, T., 2001 - 2006, Exeter to Barnstaple A377 (Report - Survey). SDV344456.
Visited 22nd January 2006. Milestone 400 metres east of Weirmarsh Farm, on verge on south side of road, has low brick surround (seen from car). Legend "10/Barum/". Worn but generally quite good, with some white paint residues. In a dangerous location but afforded some protection by a wall like structure. One of the taller markers, circa 1879.

Milestone. Probably early to mid 19th century. Granite, with segmental top. Inscribed: "10/BARUM". This milestone is one of a series on the Exeter/Barnstaple road.
