Visited 23rd January 2006. Milestone approximately 300 metres south of the turning to Fire Beacon Cross, part sunk into the bank on the west side, very close to the road edge (seen from car). Legend "4/Barum/". Dirty stone in a dangerous position with scratches across face and chips to top edge. Ordnance Survey benchmark below legend. Circa 1879.
