Full description
Context One Archaeological Services, 2009, Land to the East of 'Castle Dene', Culmstock Road, Hemyock, Devon, ii, 9 (Report - Excavation). SDV344454.
Remains of a metalled trackway revealed during excavation on land to the east of Castle Dene. The trackway was aligned east-west and possibly associated with a drainage ditch to the north, also aligned east-west. The line of the trackway also respected that of an earthen bank to the south. Dated between the 12th and 14th centuries.
