Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
'Exeter 12 Honiton 4 M.S.' shown to north-east of Ash Farm.
Jenkinson, T., 2004 - 2005, Honiton to Exeter Unclassified Old A30 (Report - Survey). SDV344479.
Visited on 4th October 2004. Milestone about half a mile south-west of Fenny Bridges, above Ash Farm on a raised grass verge on the south side of the road. Poor condition with dents, chips and small holes evident. Difficult to read legend, which is also on rear of stone, 'Honiton IV Exeter XII IV Miles from Honiton'. Ordnance Survey benchmark also on face. Dates to circa 1754.
