'Exeter 8 Honiton 8 M.S.' shown about 20 metres to east of present location.
Jenkinson, T., 2004 - 2005, Honiton to Exeter Unclassified Old A30 (Report - Survey). SDV344479.
Visited on 28th September 2004. Milestone in Hand and Pen, approximately 100 metres west of Church Road, on path outside garage on north side of road. Worn and neglected, discoloured with chips and pieces out of edges. Half way point between town and city. Tall Exeter marker, circa 1815, 8 miles to Honiton, 8 miles to Exeter, 168 miles to London.
