Hewitt headstone approximately 4 metres south of aisle of Church of St. Mary. Headstone. Dated 1762 in memory of James Hewitt. Hamstone. Upright slab stands approximately 400 millimetres high. The first word of the inscription is in Gothic lettering, the rest in is Roman serif upper and lower case lettering. It records the death of James Hewitt in 1762. Date listed 17th March 1988.
