Heard, H., 2006, Water Sewage Treatment Infrastructure Near Exeter Airport, East Devon: Gradiometry Survey, 9 (Report - Geophysical Survey). SDV344441.

A series of linear and curvilinear positive anomalies (d) identified in the south-west of the survey area, which may indicate cut features of archaeological origin. Other details: Figures 33-37 (d).

A ditch, oriented north-west to south-east, appeared to terminate within trench 2. It was 0.6 metres wide and 0.2 metres deep with moderately sloping sides and a concave base. The geophysical survey suggests that it may have formed part of a possible enclosure ditch, although no other potential elements of this feature were observed in the trench. A small pit was located approximately in the centre of this feature, which measured 0.75 metres in diameter and was 0.2 metres deep, with moderately sloping sides and a concave base. No dateable finds were recoverd from the pit or the ditch. Other details: Figures 2, 5, 7.
