Full description

Anonymous chest tomb approximately three metres north of the aisle of the Church of St. Mary. Probably 18th century. Hamstone. Chest tomb is rectangular in plan on a moulded plinth and has a soffit-moulded lid with a low-pitched ridge on the top. The sides have rectangular panels with bead-moulded surrounds, two on each long side and one each end. There is apparently no inscription although the west end is very overgrown. Date listed: 16th March 1988.
