Summary
Several linear features identified by geophysical survey, in a field to the north-west of Old Park. A ditch found during subsequent evaluation corresponded with one of the anomalies. Its fill contained a single piece of worked flint.

Full description
Haddrell, S., 2009, Pinhoe New Village, Devon, 8 (Report - Geophysical Survey). SDV344449.
Several positive linear anomalies, representing cut features of possible archaeological origin, are evident in the north of Area 4. Other details: Figures 3-6.

A ditch located at the western end of an evaluation trench (62) corresponded with a north-west to south-east orientated anomaly shown on the geophysical survey. The ditch was moderately steep sided with a flattish base. The primary fill contained a single piece of worked flint.
