Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments, Plot 467 (Cartographic). SDV359954.

Depicted on the Tithe Map; six buildings shown, all fairly modestly sized. 'Houses and yard' noted on apportionment. Dwelling is the main building to the south-west of the farm.

'Lower Longford' is depicted onn the late 19th century historic map. Largely unchanged from the Tithe Map depiction.

The modern mapping for Lower Longford shows some extensive alteration since the early 20th century, although the house appears similar. The farm buildings have been extended substantially.
