Summary
A group of linear features were identified by geophysical survey in the northern part of the field to the west of Old Park. That orientated north-west to south-east was proved on subsequent excavation to be a ditch.

Full description
Haddrell, S., 2009, Pinhoe New Village, Devon, 8 (Report - Geophysical Survey). SDV344449.
Strong positive linear anomalies, representing cut features of possible archaeological origin, are evident in the north of Area 6. Other details: Figures 3-6.

A ditch located in Trench 54 during evaluation excavation corresponded with the north-west to south-west orientated anomaly recorded during geophysical survey. No dating evidence was recovered.
