Unknown, 1676, Waye Title Deeds 924 m/t1/6 (Record Office Collection). SDV287487.

Lower Waye. Lower Waye mentioned in title deeds of 1676 and thereafter.


Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848, 36 of 101 on apportionment (Cartographic). SDV349431.

'Lower Waye' is depicted on the Tithe Map; 999 on the apportionment 'House, garden and orchard'. A long building is shown on the northern side of the road, with a small structure at the western end, while two buildings are shown to the south of the road.
