The original site of Manor Farm lay to the south of the parish church, but was abandoned sometime between 1841 and 1885. A new farmstead on a planned layout was built on an artificial terrace 1 kilometre to the east, alongside the lane to Diptford. This was a little to the north of the site of a small agricultural building shown on the 1841 Tithe Map. Other details: Maps 1-3.
