An L-shaped ditch, possibly part of a smaller segmented enclosure, was revealed during excavations on land to the north-west of Four Cross Ways. It extended for approximately 46 metres across the site, and consisted of a longer north-south aligned, slightly curved segment, 0.71 metres wide and roughly 0.43 metres deep, with a shorter return segment on an east-west alignment approximately 0.7 metres wide and roughly 0.46 metres deep.Three sherds of Middle Bronze Age pottery were recovered from the lower and upper fills. A possible posthole was located within the entrance, although it was heavily disturbed. Other details: Figure 2;. Map object based on this Source.
