Collings, A. G. + Parker, R. W. + Passmore, A. J., 2009, Historic Building Recording and Watching Brief at East Densham Farm, East Woolfardisworthy, Devon, 10 (Report - Watching Brief). SDV344615.
Close to the junction of the driveway and farm track a small pit was exposed cut into natural bedrock. It measurd 0.8 metres wide by 0.7 metres deep and had steep sides. Its base was not exposed. It was filled with a yellowish grey stony clayey silt, and was sealed by a stone driveway surface.
