Sims, R. + Firth, E., 2009, Recording of Geotechnical Pits on Land adjacent to St. Andrew's Parish Church, Cullompton, Devon. Interim Archaeological Statement, 2 (Report - Watching Brief). SDV344631.
In Trial Pit 6 a possible north-east to south-west aligned ditch or large pit was identified. Only the southern edge was visible. The full depth was not established, but a small quantity of pst-medieval pottery and animal bone was recovered from its fill. It was overlain by a probable surface of large sub-angular stones.
