Farm dates to at least the 17th century, based on the age of the farmhouse. Depicted on the 19th and 20th century historic maps with a number of additional buildings; these do not survive. Included in the Dartmoor National Park Historic farmstead survey (recorded in 1995) when the farmhouse and linhay were surveyed.

Full description
South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments, Plot 406 (Cartographic). SDV359954.
Farm is depicted on 1840s Tithe Map. One long, narrow building aligned south-west by north-east on east side of a farm, adjacent to the road. Further buildings to north and west of the farm.
